A customer-focused retail/food-service outlet in Oudtshoorn is looking for a reliable and friendly Team Member to provide fast, accurate service and assist with day-to-day store operations. The role includes serving customers, taking orders, handling payments, managing stock, and keeping the store clean and organised.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers with a friendly attitude

  • Recommend specials, promotions, and menu items

  • Assist with customer queries and complaints

  • Maintain excellent customer service standards

  • Communicate with supervisors and colleagues

  • Operate the cash register or POS system

  • Process cash, card, and digital payments

  • Perform cash-ups and balance the till

  • Pack, label, box, or wrap customer orders

  • Follow company policies and store procedures

  • Receive, verify, and unpack new stock

  • Assist walk-in, phone-in, and window orders

  • Ensure orders are accurate and well-presented

  • Serve beverages (e.g., coffee, sodas)

  • Keep the front-of-house area clean and organised

Requirements

  • Matric

  • English-speaking

  • Must live within 15 km of Oudtshoorn

  • Clear criminal record

Preferences (Not Required)

  • Experience as a Cashier, Team Member, Crew Member, or Front of House

  • Age 28–37 preferred
