The Silo Hotel is currently looking for experienced waiters to join their luxury hospitality team in Cape Town.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong customer service skills, food & wine knowledge, and experience working in high-end restaurants, bars, or luxury hotels.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years waitering or bartending experience
• Experience in an upmarket/luxury environment preferred
• Strong English communication skills
• POS & inventory software experience advantageous
• Ability to work under pressure
• Passion for hospitality and guest service
Duties Include:
• Serving guests in the hotel’s restaurants and bars
• Taking orders and making recommendations
• Upselling menu items and beverages
• Maintaining high cleanliness and service standards
• Assisting guests with hotel and Cape Town information
Additional Information:
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and shifts
• International hospitality experience is advantageous
• Valid work permit required for non-SA citizens
• Pre-employment polygraph testing applies
